In struggling to be at least a partial optimist in these darkening times, I wish for Frodo's ring to be consumed in the fire. Can art bring us back to our senses? I can only hope. I realize that all my friends are fucking awesome. Good people. Not haters. And their friends, the same. So when I look at it, good is in the majority. JL is right. Love is all there is.
