A long way back, at least 15 years, I was first in line at a stop light in my mom’s junky red Pontiac and a homeless woman (South End) stepped in front of me, pulled up her shirt and rubbed her 'assets’ (like kneading bread dough), all over my windshield. I couldn’t see out. I had to wait. I kinda thought she was awesome. I kinda thought this was art, as in a Yoko Ono ‘happening’. The cars in back of me were honking. I found out later that only one other person, my friend Iris McCarthy, knew about her. She told me the other night that her name was Natasha, but she thought that maybe that’s what people called her and that no one really knew who she was or what her real name was. I haven’t seen her since. Hope she’s ok and off the street.
