I lean towards the Honeymooners (Jackie Gleason) with lyrics. Touch of a big laugh, touch of the sad. But this song is possibly one of the happiest I’ve written in awhile. The push and pull of two kids teasing/testing their friendship, all the while knowing it’s for real. That pre-puberty closeness that has yet to be interrupted by zits, competition or weird desire - at least on a good day. Get outa the house and do stuff. No adults shaking fingers.
