If Frank Zappa had written a song for John Waters to give to Divine to sing as the credits rolled at the end of Pink Flamingos (a distant cousin of ‘Please Don’t Eat That Yellow Snow’), this would be it. Loose, idiosyncratic choreography and singing the ‘uh oh’ backups by all cast members as the Great Divine sang her tits off.

I actually thought of writing the song after my cat, Wasabi, left a couple of ‘tootsie rolls’ in the tub. I was bitch angry with him, but held my fire. Cats live in the pin point present. Wasabi would have no recollection of what he’d done if I tried to punish him like a dog, shoving is tiny eraser nose into the brown. Then the alliterative phrase, ‘there’s a turd in the tub’ had me burst out laughing, and all was forgiven. My juvenile delinquent cat provoked a song.

Unlikely The Nickel & Dime Band will take it on.
