1982 Berlin Airlift record (Handshake). Recorded in NYC at the Hit Factory. 1981-82 Bill Pfordrescher (producer), Jeffrey Lesser (engineer). The Band: Jane Balmond (keys, vocals), Steven Paul Perry (guitar, vocals), Joe Pet (kit), Glen Moran (kit) Chet Cahill (bass), Berlin (vocals), Billie Best (mgr). The most airplay ever gotten was for this band. In particular, WBCN. They played our cassette tapes in drive time, and gave a shout out to record companies to 'sign this band'! Those were the days.
